After almost two years of construction, the Wustrow pier was inaugurated in 1994. It is 395 metres long and 3.5 metres wide and is supported by steel pillars. The first pier in the municipality was completed in 1886: It was made of wood and was only 50 metres long. An extension of the bridge became necessary in the following years in…
