New York lives, breathes and races - and nowhere can you see it better than on the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. This photo captures the ultimate city feeling: in the foreground, bright yellow taxis whizz towards Manhattan, while in the background, the famous skyline rises from a world of steel and glass. The contrast between the classic architecture of the bridge, the black-and-white cityscape and the striking colour of the Yellow Cabs adds strength and dynamism to the image.
My inspiration for this shot was the typical American feeling of being "in the middle of it all". You feel the energy of the city, the never-ending traffic and the endless possibilities New York offers. I deliberately chose an edit where the taxis get colour and the rest remains black and white, so that the eye is immediately drawn to those iconic vehicles.
This work brings a bit of New York energy and urban style to any interior. It fits perfectly into a modern, industrial or urban chic home, and makes you feel every day that anything is possible - just like in the city that never sleeps.
