About "Zalmhaven tower highest skyscraper in Rotterdam"

About the artwork

Viewed from the Kop van Zuid in Rotterdam, the new Zalmhaven tower stands out proudly against the beautiful dramatic sky during sunset.
This residential tower is located on the site of the muted Zalmhaven, from which the tower also takes its name.
There are 3 types of housing in this tower: spacious apartments, luxurious penthouses and generous townhouses with private entrances.
The Zalmhaven is located in the Scheepvaartkwartier.
Here you live in a chic maritime location that is also urban. With the view over the city and the Maas, this is a dream location for many.
The Zalmhaven tower with 215 meters is the tallest building in the Netherlands.
The construction of this residential tower started on 25 October 2018 and was completed and delivered on 21 April 2022.
The Zalmhaven Tower is part of a new construction plan with 485 homes distributed over three towers between Gedempte Zalmhaven and Houtlaan in the Scheepvaartkwartier below the Erasmus Bridge.
The Zalmhaven Tower was designed by Diederik Dam of Dam & Partners on behalf of developers.
In October 2021, a spectacular light show on the building celebrated the reaching of the highest point of the Zalmhaven Tower.
This photo further shows part of the iconic Erasmus Bridge along with some other high-rise buildings, the height of which has thus now been quite surpassed with the completion of the Zalmhaven Tower.
