The autumn, which I have experienced more than 70 times in my life, has had an undeniable influence on all my artistic choices: painting, music, photography and violin making.
It's also why I live in the mountains, surrounded by thousands of hectares of forest, which, alas, are paying a heavy price due to the greed of those who see the forest only as wood and the profits to be made from it! Just a few years ago, this forest (one of the largest in France) was home to a large number of ancient trees (beech and oak). Alas, in recent years, with the price of wood having risen considerably, the chainsaws have taken their toll on the last giants of this magnificent forest!
In fact, photography is a witness to the beauty of this magical place, which lifts the soul of anyone who knows how to look with their heart. To capture the infinite nuances of these autumn colours, I took this shot with a medium-format "hasselblad" camera, the only one capable of reproducing the accuracy and finesse of these autumn colours!
Autumn lovers will certainly appreciate the result.
