A nice view of Ponta do Sol pier, during the blue hour. This village can be found on the sunny southern coast of Madeira island.
It is a popular location for many tourists, to watch the sunset. Consequently, the right part of the pier (out of view) is full of people. To get here, you have to cross this bridge, which is beautifully built on the rocks.
By using a long shutter speed, most people disappeared in the picture. Except for one man walking down the stairs like a ghost. The water of the Atlantic Ocean is also nicely smoothed out, giving the picture a peaceful look. The illuminated lampposts, add extra atmosphere to this image!!!
