About ‘borage flowers’ by Andreas Paul
In the soft light, the delicate hairs on the borage flowers glisten. There is only a narrow depth of field; the eye keeps refocusing and is forced to piece together a complete picture. Our visual habits are subverted. Proportions are lost; the small becomes large, oversized, and defies our expectations.

As a graphic designer, I also enjoy picking up my camera to take portraits in a professional context, for example, to showcase works of art or to photograph events.
I also enjoy working on personal projects that explore, amongst other things, contrasts, colour perception and visual habits.
