About ‘brown hares’ by Sandra Kolondam

Two hares stand upright facing each other and gently touch each other with their front paws. Their posture conveys both alertness and quiet familiarity. The delicate brushstrokes and warm brown and beige tones give the motif a calm and natural feel. The subtle, linen-coloured background emphasises the animals' connection to the earth and highlights their delicate body language. This work was inspired by observing native wildlife in the open countryside. Hares often encounter each other with a mixture of caution and curiosity – it was precisely this fleeting moment that I wanted to capture. It is an image about closeness, about encounter and about the balance between strength and sensitivity. The reduced colour palette creates a warm, harmonious atmosphere and fits particularly well into natural living styles such as country house, boho or modern, minimalist interiors. As a wall mural, the motif appears calm and lively at the same time – a quiet eye-catcher that brings warmth and a connection to nature into the room.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
