About ‘on the beach’ by Rita Fuchs

On the coast of Charlie Beach on the island of Koh Mook, the Andaman Sea reveals its most captivating side. The fine, light-coloured sandy beach meets the crystal-clear water, whose shades of turquoise fade gently towards the horizon. Off the coast, a few sailing boats lie peacefully on the sea, lending the scene an atmosphere of freedom and adventure.
Dark clouds are gathering above the water, creating a striking contrast to the brightness of the beach. Yet it is precisely this interplay of light and shadow that gives the moment its special charm. Rays of sunlight break through the cloud cover, bathing parts of the sea in an almost magical light. It feels as though nature is staging its own romantic spectacle here.
Charlie Beach is one of the most beautiful places in southern Thailand. The unspoilt landscape, the vast expanse of the Andaman Sea and the peaceful tranquillity make this beach a place where you can leave the worries of everyday life behind. The steady murmur of the waves accompanies every step along the shore and invites you to simply savour the moment.
As your gaze wanders out over the sea and the sailing boats on the horizon slowly fade into the distance, a sense of longing and wanderlust takes hold. Charlie Beach is a place brimming with natural beauty, tropical romance and quiet moments that linger in the heart for a long time.
