About the artwork
"Red: Panorama of a red Gerbera in drops" is a macro photo of a red Gerbera. By using refracting light, a flower has been turned into a bouquet! By placing different liquids between the flower and the camera, I created this effect.
Lighting also plays a big role in this, too, to get the work like this. If you zoom in on the work, you can see how the flower is reflected in the drops!
"Red: Panorama of a red Gerbera in drops" is a photo from the "flowers in drops" series.
The main colours in this work are warm colours: red, orange and black. Although part of this work consists of striking, vibrant, bright colours, this work also exudes something of tranquillity!
