This tree shape is inspired by natural reality. If you stand under a big mature tree and look up, you sometimes remained the fairy tale Jack and the Beanstalk, in which Jack is the son from a poor family. One day he goes to the market to sell the last cow. Sjaak trades the cow for some magic beans. Upon returning home, his mother is very angry; she doesn't think it was a good exchange and throws the beans outside.
The next day, Sjaak looks outside and sees a huge beanstalk reaching to the sky. Sjaak climbs up and steals gold coins from the giant who lives in the clouds.
This painting also depicts one of nature's most beautiful atmospheric images the crown of the tree.
The natural colours and dreamy atmosphere make the artwork a beautiful eye-catcher in most interiors.
The use of colour is a mix of natural tones with in various fresh accents and many nuances.
The main colour is warm soft green but nicely blended. A nice warm blanket on the wall.
Almost all my works start with an idea sketch and then I use several layers, effects and filters to achieve this result. I call it digital painting.
Finally, the end result is digitally post-processed for the reproduction of Werk aan de muur
Art should surprise, inspire and for me, being allowed to make art is not work but oxygen why I live.
With creative greetings Joan
