One of my photographic collections that is particularly close to my heart is that of small wild flowers. To be honest, the species of these little flowers are so varied that I've given up trying to remember their names. By devoting a long series to them, I wanted to pay them a special and well-deserved tribute!
When you go for a walk in nature, you don't necessarily pay attention to what you're stepping on. That's how these little flowers, some of which measure just a few millimetres, end up being crushed under our soles most of the time. Paying tribute to them through photography made me aware of their existence and their importance as living entities. When the photographic lens reveals them, you realise the insolent beauty of these little flowers that many humans ignore because they haven't taken the time to bend down and look at them.
