on this 5 November 2024, I had first photographed the sunrise in Alkmaar. Then cycled on to the Heilooerbos to take some autumn pictures. It was not very foggy so I did not expect any sunrays. However, as you can see, nature can surprise you. I walked around for about 1 1/2 hours, constantly positioning myself to see the rays. A step to the left or right makes a world of difference with this photography. It was lovely enjoying the autumn colours. This Nijenburgh estate owned by Natuurmonumenten is a feast for the eyes.
