A beautiful spring sunset in the mountains of the Ardeche in southern France. It is one from a triptych all following lengthwise running towards the mountain ridge in the distance. We don't get that far in the photo story, although that would make a nice whole for something like a photo story. There is no such thing now, and with this photo I take you on an evening on a winding country road where you can drive with one car and hope for no oncoming traffic. You bump through from one small village to the next hamlet that just makes the previous village look sleepy. Villages with more houses than people. The path from rest to rest. As is only possible in the south, where time seems to stand still and haste belongs to those who have no rest.
