About ‘'t Mirnser Klif’ by Floris van Woudenberg
't Mirnser Klif is a remnant of the lateral moraine that forms the subsoil of Gaasterland. The Zuiderzee (now IJsselmeer) eroded part of that moraine, creating a steep edge called a cliff. The stones are a reminder of the land ice that once deposited those moraines here.
This HDR shot shows part of the beach and the steep edge…

I have always photographed, inspired by my father, but only the last 7 years I have an SLR camera. Since 4 years I use a system camera from Sony, the a7II. I prefer landscape, macro and portrait photography (the latter not visible in my shop). I live in Woerden with my wife, Terschelling is my second home. Soon I hope to spend more time in photography, when my social career ends.
