The sun bounces back from the silver binoculars on the summit of Mount Le Hohneck in the Vosges Mountains. It is a beautiful afternoon in summer, the sky is cloudless but not so clear in the distance. This photo was taken on analogue roll film with a larger camera. I took that with me to see how this colour negative film would turn out. The light at this time was very beautiful. It was around six-thirty and the sun was already lower. You can see that well from the viewer's shadow. The colours turned out beautifully in this picture. The bright glare from the sun in the metal viewer makes it look like there is a sun there.
