One of the most beautiful places on the Lofoten is the picturesque fishing village Hamnoy, also the oldest fishing village on the Lofoten. If you follow the King Olavsweg, which crosses the Lofoten from north to south, you will pass by it. The village is beautifully situated on the waterfront with in the background the steep mountains which are so characteristic for the Lofoten. The village itself is not much but it is the location that makes it so special.
