Painting with fire on canvas, poster, wallpaper and ArtFrame by André Bikker - graVuur & schilderijen

Playing with fire brought a new technique After a two-year search and endless testing of all kinds of techniques for painting with fire, André Bikker discovered a new technique in the summer of 2016: painting with fire. Making an engraving is difficult to compare with existing painting methods. It appears to be painted in a sepia tone, but no paint is involved. The heat from the gas burner discolors the wood. Correction is not possible with this technique. There is a constant threat that the work will literally be burned down. Characteristic of a GraFire An engraving by André Bikker can be recognized by the stained glass initials and the signature on the back of the panel. In addition, the work is made on recycled wood, formwork from a trading company. Also, there is only one of each engraving. This is made to order, such as portraits of children, dogs or cats. There is also an autonomous collection on this site. One of these is auctioned digitally every month. Look at engraving auction for more information.
