Charlotte Seuntjens is a painter, theatre maker, artist and entrepreneur. Her colourful, abstract paintings consist of different materials and techniques. The result of Charlotte's work is always vibrant, multi-layered and works like a magnet for your eyes. The paintings are based on Charlotte's imagination, emotion and environment. Her work is abstract, surrealistic and has a graffiti look. The paintings are often created in small series around a certain theme and Charlotte infuses each painting with a piece of emotion, passion imagination. As a result, each work tells its own story, without becoming obligatory or pedantic. Charlotte Seuntjens' works have in common that they are colourful and joyful, giving the viewer a smile. To her, a painting by Charlotte is only successful if the result makes the viewer as happy as Charlotte was when she made the work.

Charlotte Seuntjens (1965) was born in the Netherlands and lived in Israel and Belgium. Currently, her studio is in Spain, in the Murcia region.
After studying fashion and theatre design, she continued as a self-taught artist in location theatre and other art creations.
Charlotte then spent 25 years as artistic director of Theatre Tol in Belgium, an international company known for its innovative, visual performances.
