On vacation at Lake Constance a very few years ago, I walked into a nice little store. The store of artist Helga Koch. I was immediately sold by the sight of the many paintings made up of different materials.
Paintings made with acrylic paint, paper, fabric, wool and other materials.
Very inspired I walked out of the store with the most beautiful painting in my hand. Once at home the painting got a nice spot in the living room.
That painting and the little store at Lake Constance inspired me so much that I started to paint and create works myself with different materials. As time went by, my need to learn more about using various materials and painting techniques became greater and greater.
The step to the art academy in Maasmechelen, Belgium was a logical one.
Meanwhile I interweave all the knowledge and skills I acquired with my own specific style and creativity.
