Some years ago, I already captured the full moon aligned with a subject and I enjoyed doing it so much that I wanted to organise some of these photo shoots again this year.
For July's super moon, I headed to this idyllic little chapel Try-au-Chêne in Genappe, just past Brussels. I made a few different compositions and in this version I aligned the moon between the chapel and the lone tree that keeps it company. With the longer shutter speed required, you can see the movement of the wind in the leaves of the tree and the grasses in the foreground.
This is the black and white version of the photo, but if you prefer a bit more colour there is also the colour version: 3 in a row - chapel - moon - tree | Colour. I look forward to finding out which version will be most to your liking.
