I took this photo of a coot in the Harderbroek near Zeewolde in Flevoland, a piece of nature created after reclamation. I was lucky that this coot was swimming near the hiking trail, nevertheless I used a telephoto lens. To take this photo I did get down on my knees, it was otherwise beautiful spring weather when I took this photo. I chose to render this photo in 16:9. I did remove some small things in post-processing on this photo afterwards.
