Our drive in North America also led us towards Monument Valley. A place of which we already knew many images. We didn't really want to enter the area itself, as our motorhome didn't allow us to drive around on our own. A pity, though, because there are many iconic spots to be found in Monument Valley.
We considered going on a tour with a jeep and guide, but as it was already a bit late that evening we decided to find a campsite.
The next day was not an option for us, as we had other landscapes on our programme that we preferred to see.
The rest of Monument Valley passed us by, but at least we got to see this unique place.
