This magpie in the photo was in the Harderbroek nature reserve in the municipality of Zeewolde. It came to sit in a bush near the bird hide I was in. The bird descended on the berries growing in the bush, you can still see the red twigs where the berries were attached. I actually didn't expect to see this bird, in that respect I am lucky to be able to capture this magpie on photo. I just don't know what kind of bush this magpie is sitting in, I wouldn't be surprised if it has been planted. It is mainly new nature what can be found in the Flevopolder.
