Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘A street scene in Paris’ by Geert Van Baelen

This colourful watercolour and ink illustration of a Parisian street captures the typical atmosphere of the French capital: elegant Haussmann architecture, narrow city streets, street art and the warm light of an early morning. The combination of loose brush textures and fine ink lines gives the scene a lively, artistic look in which Paris, urban life and architecture come together.

For this illustration, I used digital painting techniques based on a photo I took of a street in Paris. By digitally translating traditional art styles such as watercolour and ink, I created a modern city illustration with a traditional feel. Ideal for lovers of Parisian art, cityscapes, urban sketching and digital art.
