About the artwork

What I always find special to do is play with light. In photography, of course, light is an important factor. To take a good photo, the right exposure is necessary, but you can also play with light. You can also put the light in the leading role instead of the object you are using when taking a photo. And when you play with light, the contrast between light and darkness is also interesting: the darker part creates more tension in the photo. In this work of art, you can see rays of light created by placing an object from nature (which has a layer of paint with a nice sheen) in the full light. The shiny paint reflects beautifully in the light and the rainbow colours are beautifully visible. Behind these rays of light is a second photo: a photo of a golden glow created by lighting a black shiny object with a light source in warm tones. A warm light with a golden glow. These two photos mixed together form a dynamic and abstract work of art with beautiful colours and lovely contrasts.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
