About the artwork
"Abstract panorama of drops" is a cropped macro photo (panorama format) of water drops on fruit flakes photographed from an angle below. This edited photo has a fresh look. This is partly due to the white (cream) of the fluff in combination with the fresh blue background.
Because a part is chosen where you only see lines and drops, and it is so enlarged, you do not easily recognize what it is. It becomes a kind of colored lines.
The depth of field is very small, (only a few millimeters of the front fluff) this creates a dreamy atmosphere also a sense of depth in the work.
The drops also work to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and thus create sparkles on the water droplets.
