About the artwork
An abstract picture of unusual shapes and patterns. There is a lot to see in this picture. Different shapes, patterns and lines. You keep looking at it and marvelling at what you actually see in this image. You look for something to hold on to but are probably not going to find it. The question is whether you recognise something or not. The picture was taken through a glass object with a beautiful motif in it. A light source was placed behind this object. By moving the camera's focus wheel, I discovered beautiful patterns in the thick glass. Each time, the image was different and different shapes appeared. It was as if I was viewing images from, say, an MRI scan. This picture also looks like an X-ray of a creature from a fantasy world. The fact that you can discover things with your camera that you can't see with the naked eye is something I particularly enjoy doing. And in larger format on my screen, it looks even more spectacular. Enjoy the mysterious pattern and continue to be amazed at what you can see. Go on a voyage of discovery in this work on your wall!
