Akihabara is home to countless neon signs, electronics shops, manga shops and retro arcade halls. By now it is late afternoon and it is starting to rain. We explore the streets and fall from one surprise to another. Floors full of dolls, cards and images of manga and the famous Pokémon characters. What a lot of money goes into this. For those like me who were born in the late 80s and lived through the 90's, this really is going back into your childhood. So too at Super Potato Retro-can. Here you can play on old gaming cabinets or buy old games and consoles. Super fun to visit. When we walk down the streets, I go all out with my camera. Everywhere you see the distinctive transparent umbrella's in the rain. In terms of street photography, I can really indulge myself here.
