An abandoned cafe in Amsterdam in black and white.
Abandoned or not yet open. The chairs still on the tables and no people to be seen. The emptiness and yet much to see. The beautiful tiled floor the simplicity of the chairs and tables.
The reflection of the street in the window. The overhead wires the buildings across the street the lampposts.
Because of the emptiness of the cafe I found the image in black and white very atmospheric. It immediately represents the tranquility that exists in the busy city. The people walking by and the lack of people in the cafe.
Zaankanteropavontuur armed with the camera through the Zaan region and the big cities.
The Zaan region the river Zaan the mills and factories I like to see.
I photograph the piers on the beaches and the industrial landscapes.
Zaankanteropavontuur likes to photograph raw and unpolished.
Zaankanteropavontuur.
Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
