There’s something unsettling about the way this twisted tree reaches out into the frame, like it’s frozen mid-motion. The landscape around it is layered and soft, a mix of dense forest and smoky haze drifting across the hillside. That plume of smoke in the distance draws your eye—maybe from a fire, maybe just someone clearing brush—but it adds tension to an otherwise peaceful view. What makes the image work is the play between that gnarled silhouette and the delicate leaves catching the light just beside it. There’s a sharpness in the bark that contrasts with the smooth, rolling hills in the background. I remember standing there, just watching the smoke grow, not sure whether it was harmless or not. That moment of uncertainty stuck with me, and I think this photo holds that same mood. It’s not trying to be dramatic, but it does feel like something’s about to shift. The light is soft but directional, highlighting texture more than form—perfect for this kind of scene.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
