For some time, we volunteered to care for bats that were injured, hungry, thirsty or weak. During the care you come into contact with many different species, old and experienced but also young animals. This picture shows two bats that are a few weeks old. While the one in the foreground had fallen asleep, the second one in the background had snuggled up to its brother to warm itself and take a rest together with him. The perfect opportunity to get a little closer to the little ones without them constantly fidgeting and exploring.
