A woman's face with closed eyes, the features of her head and neck gently melting into a garden of blooming, dense flowers. Thousands of wildflowers — daisies, roses, poppies, plants that do not fade, and many other species of all colours — grow and bloom and flow through the shadow of the mind like a living mass that is almost liquid. It feels like a dream exploding from the unconscious. What I see in the work What I see in the work A calm face contemplating calm surrender, his eyes gently closed, while the boundaries between self and nature disappear completely. The head turns into a vessel overflowing with bright, untamed plants — petals, leaves, stems and small buds intertwined in chaotic but harmonious beauty. Every small detail — the delicate veins in a petal, the soft touches resembling dew, the way some flowers seem to extend outward — makes the mind feel alive, breathing, growing endlessly. Source of inspiration Source of inspiration This work was born out of a constant fascination with the hidden depths of the human mind — the way thoughts, feelings, and memories grow randomly and uncontrollably, just like a garden left to its own devices. Influenced by the surrealist explorations of the unconscious (Freud, Jung, Dali) and the ancient idea that the soul is a fertile field. In moments of inner chaos or quiet contemplation, I imagined the mind not as something to be controlled, but as a living, beautiful, and overwhelming force. Consciousness is not a single complete entity, but living fragments of experience that still pulsate with life. Rooted in existentialist philosophy and the fragmented self, my work explores fragmented consciousness: contemporary humans after trauma, entities that do not claim perfection, collect scattered fragments of knowledge, feel, interact, and give meaning back to you—alive.
