Source of inspiration
This work came from a deep fascination with ancient Egyptian art and the mystery of hieroglyphics — how entire worlds are hidden in simple lines. During a difficult period of feeling disconnected, I imagined what it would be like if the past could speak again through the body, reminding us that knowledge and truth do not really disappear, but are just waiting to be rediscovered.
The atmosphere I want to create
is mysterious and calm, yet strangely comforting. It feels cold and distant, like an ancient tomb, but it is warm and hopeful, like light piercing the darkness. A sense of sacred silence mixed with inner awareness.
The message / feeling I want to convey
Even when everything seems lost or buried, there is still light and meaning hidden within. The form is not broken — it is waiting. This work is dedicated to anyone who has ever felt forgotten by time, yet still carries an ancient power within them.
The technique used
I started with a dark silhouette and built layers upon layers of light, texture and symbols using digital brushes and glow effects. I let my feelings guide the process rather than strict planning — the fog and veil appeared naturally during my work, as if the character itself decided how much to reveal.
