Moss and algae overgrown mooring posts in the Paterswoldse Meer near the small lock next to the Helpermolen, which connects the lake to the North Willems Canal. Lake Paterswold lies on the border of the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe and is a well-known water sports and recreation area.
