This picture was taken at the royal De Horsten estate near Wassenaar.
The park is beautiful to walk in and ideal for taking nice pictures.
The old castle Raaphorst is said to have been built in 1230 by Kerstand van Raephorst. The property was owned by this family until 1650. In 1783, it came into the possession of Mr A.P. Twent, later Minister of Water Resources under King Louis Napoleon. The latter started afforesting the Raaphorst. In 1838, Prince Frederik bought the property. The castle had already been demolished by then. Exactly what the old castle looked like is not known. Only some old drawings have survived.
