One of the beautiful corridors of a real castle in Italy. Built in the late 11th century, this castle was used for military purposes as a training ground for knights and soldiers. At the end of the 16th century, during the war with the Spanish, the castle was heavily destroyed, set on fire and looted. A few years later, one of the towers was struck by lightning and again severely damaged. It wasn't until the early 1920's when the new owner completely restored the castle to its original form. What an amazing castle this is and must have been almost 1000 years ago.
