The Caudron G.3 was a French double-decker trainer and reconnaissance aircraft produced by aircraft manufacturer Caudron. The first flight of this single-engine aircraft took place in late 1913. A total of about 2,450 of them were built.
The Caudron G.3 was used during World War I as a training aircraft and reconnaissance aircraft. The G.3 was mostly unarmed, although a light machine gun and a few bombs were sometimes carried. The aircraft entered service with 28 countries.
