1976 Chevrolet General Motors (GM) Corvette Stingray V8.
Nicknamed by the Americans as "America's Sports Car", Corvette is an icon car produced by Chevrolet between 1953 and 2019. Due to it's high performance engine and it’s distinctive fiberglass body design, it became synonymous with freedom and adventure for car lovers and enthusiasts all over the world. After it's launch in 1953, Corvette became the most successful concept car and the most popular sports car in automobile history.
This is the third generation Corvette, the Stingray, launched in 1969, which came with several innovations in the auto industry, such as the T top, an aluminum 370 horse power engine, new emission and gas regulators and became the first cromeless car in the world.
Photo taken at a Retro Car show, held twice a year in my hometown, where these beautiful classic cars are showcased and the event finishes with a great parade through the city.
The photograph was then digitally sketched and painted in watercolor.
