The photo was taken on a rocky coast and we can see both the coast and the rocks as well as a piece of the sea, more on the upper left. The rocks are a little pink and orange in color, a warm hue. The sea is light gray with waves.
In the whole picture we see a huge colony of sea lions, from several dozen to hundreds. They are lying on the rocks, swimming in the sea, interacting with each other. The sea lions are dark brown to black when wet; those with dry coats are more ochre yellow.
The photo is taken a bit from above, from a vantage point. I took it at Cape Cross, a point on the Namibian coast in Africa, during one of my safari trips.
