Evening/night photography, an excursion with FotoExpressionGroepGemert, or FEGG for short, on the grounds of the Eindhoven University of Technology. This environment lends itself very well to evening photography because there are many different subjects to photograph, such as buildings, sculptures, water features, height differences due to stairs and many different colors. Also, the environment lends itself to shooting with long shutter speeds.
This photo is a multiple shot in camera of a building that was changed in color each time. The photo was taken on a tripod, rotating the camera slightly each time. Working with tripod made it possible to keep the building at about the same height.
In post-processing, the image was made more saturated and noise was removed with Topaz.
This photo stands out because of the color palette and the repetition of buildings. Because the photo is rendered in landscape, it lends itself very well to a long wall, where it gets space to "shine".
