About the artwork

The deserts of California are some of the most iconic and diverse landscapes in the United States. They stretch across the southern part of the state and include several distinct desert regions, such as the Mojave Desert, the Colorado Desert, and the Great Basin Desert. The Mojave Desert, which covers a large portion of California's desert area, is perhaps the most well-known. It is home to the famous Death Valley National Park, which contains the hottest, driest, and lowest point in North America.

Death Valley is notorious for its extreme heat, with summer temperatures soaring above 50 degrees Celsius (122°F). Despite its harsh conditions, the park is home to a surprising variety of flora and fauna, including cacti, desert wildflowers, coyotes, and rattlesnakes.

California's deserts are also famous for their unique rock formations, such as those found in Joshua Tree National Park, where the iconic Joshua trees and massive boulders create a surreal landscape. The combination of desert plains, sand dunes, salt flats, and mountains makes California's deserts a captivating destination for nature lovers, hikers, and adventurers alike.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
