The red geraniums match wonderfully with the oxblood red in which the Market Hall is painted. I think a bonus in the photo is the beautiful shadow of the geraniums on the wall.
This building dates back to 1879 and today serves as an organic market, where artisans sell their local products. There is also art for sale, such as ceramics and paintings.
The building is cast iron and an example of 19th-century neo-Gothic and industrial style.
I loved the building and love the fact that in France not everything is so tightly painted. Just the bit of weathering gives character to this building.
