From the Ones in a Lifetime collection
During my our shoot in the woods, we were alerted by a resident of what later turned out to be a large estate who asked us to continue the shoot on his little bridge.
An almost hushed life of a young woman in her bare feet, on a little bridge somewhere in North Brabant.
Again, the lighting is 'ones in a lifetime' and unique.
In terms of technique, I only used natural light in combination with a large beauty disk and flash on a tripod over 7 metres high. Which had to mimic the sun among the tall monumental trees. The mist or smoke was created with a separate generator and smoke machine which you also see at concerts.
A truly beautiful photo, down to the last detail in terms of clothing, make-up and hair styling.
The preparations were gigantic, over 300 hours of work preparation, so I informed the control room of the fire brigade, police and the Forestry Commission, as the smoke that was released could be compared to a small forest fire.
A picture like this one looks best in a central hall of an office, villa, living room or on a large wall.
