Graffiti is often painted on a rough concrete surface.
The artworks are often painted over, creating crumbling layers.
Thickly applied paint drips over the surface, creating depth and expression.
Texture forms the basis of my photographic art.
Isolating certain details creates abstraction.
I like to call these details samples of a work of art.
An exhibition space is an ideal place to combine the samples.
But they also come into their own in a minimalist interior, individually or in a diptych or triptych with other work from the EXPO92 album.
