You might encounter the Eagle Buzzard in the dry steppe regions of North Africa, western Asia and south-eastern Europe. Occasionally, this bird of prey is also seen in more northern areas. With a wingspan of 1 m to 1.5 m, the Eagle Buzzard is slightly larger than a buzzard.
