About the artwork

This special photo shows the famous quiver tree forest in Namibia at a magical moment: the rising sun is just breaking through the branches of the bizarrely shaped trees, creating a radiant sun star. The light falls warm and clear through the branches, while the stony desert landscape glows in golden tones.

The quiver tree (Aloe dichotoma) is actually a succulent and is found almost exclusively in southern Namibia and parts of South Africa. Its unusual growth, thick, smooth bark and branched crown make it an absolute eye-catcher - especially in combination with the dry, barren ground and the vast landscape.

Capturing such an image requires patience, timing and the right lens - and often many attempts. The moment when the light shines precisely between the branches is brief, but incomparable.

This picture invites you to marvel and pause for a moment. It tells of heat and silence, of centuries-old plants that survive in one of the driest regions on earth - and have a quiet dignity of their own. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
