The Damse Vaart is a vast canal in the north of the Belgian province of West Flanders. It is about 15 km long and connects the provincial capital Bruges with the Dutch border town of Sluis. Under a summer sun, the trees turn a beautiful green. This photo was taken during a boat trip. The reflection in the water and the white clouds in the sky create almost a picturesque image.
