I discovered this architectural interior shot in the tunnel of the underground station on line U55 in Berlin's Mitte district.
I took this graphic, urban motif on 11 January 2015 in the evening hours with the NIKON D90 camera (lens: NIKKOR 18.0-50.0 mm f/2.8).
The underground line U55 was a line of the Berlin underground between Brandenburger Tor and Hauptbahnhof, which ran in island operation from 8 August 2009 to 17 March 2020.
The 1.8-kilometre route is part of the extension of the U5 line from Alexanderplatz to the west, also known as the "Kanzler U-Bahn". With the commissioning of the section from Alexanderplatz to the Brandenburg Gate on
4 December 2020, it became part of the U5 line.
