The Ferrari F40 is a GT and racing supercar from the Italian car manufacturer Ferrari. Produced between 1987 and 1992 to celebrate the brand's fortieth anniversary, it is the successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO. Ultimate creation of the Commendatore Enzo Ferrari (1898-1988), it is, at the time of its release, the fastest, most powerful and most expensive car in the history of the automobile.
