The Maserati Ghibli is a grand touring car from the Italian car manufacturer Maserati. It owes its name to the Ghibli, a stormy wind in the Egyptian desert. Presented at the 1966 Turin Motor Show, it was mass-produced and marketed from 1967 until 1973.
A direct competitor of the prestigious Ferrari Daytona and Lamborghini Miura, the Maserati Ghibli is "an aesthetic masterpiece, signed by the master Giorgietto Giugiaro, recognised by many as one of the most successful Italian achievements of the 1960s.
